Leadership Mastery

Move the Mountain Leadership Center developed the Transformational Map in 1994 as a guide for leaders who were pursuing major community and societal changes. We have known all along that in order to lead transformational change, one must engage in transforming Self. That is why “commit to personal development” sits in the center of our Transformational Map.

Leadership Mastery is an invitation-only program offered by Move the Mountain in partnership with Teleos Institute. It provides a deep, personal growth experience for people invited by MTM to play a transformational leadership role in the national Circles campaign. People who complete Leadership Mastery are supported by the national Leadership Mastery team in practicing four primary transformational change tools provided in the class.

Leadership Mastery is limited to 16 participants and is structured into two, four-day classes offered approximately 90 days apart from each other. The first class was piloted in January and May of 2008 and the follow-up structures are currently being designed with the graduates. Leadership Mastery graduates are expected to play a transformational leadership role in the National Circles Campaign.

Teleos Institute founders, Diane K. Pike, and Arleen Lorrance joined together in 1972 to teach methods for functioning consciously in the world. They are highly skilled facilitators who are adept at creating an opportunity for people to go deep within and emerge with new transformational energy to lead in more powerful ways. Scott Miller, Cofounder of MTM, has been working and studying with Teleos since 1979.
