Circles™ Campaign
The Circles™ Campaign was initiated by Move the Mountain to provide transformational leaders a structure to engage the community in ending poverty.
A Circle is comprised of a family working to get out of poverty and two to four community allies, people who are willing to befriend the family and support their way out of poverty.
The mission of the Circles™ Campaign is to transform communities by building relationships that inspire and equip people to end poverty. The vision of the Circles Campaign is that: Everyone in America has enough meaning, relationships and resources in his or her life to thrive.
The three objectives for The Circles™ Campaign are:
- Assist 50,000 families completely out of poverty,
- Carefully document the steps taken to help them out of poverty and any barriers they encountered(their own internal barriers as well as community and government policy barriers),
- Help leaders develop a new social contract draft that outlines what a community, state and nation can and should do to assure hard-working families can thrive.
